We believe that Wellness Care (Preventative Health Care) provides the cornerstone of quality care for your pet. Starting with puppies and kittens we will customize a wellness program based on your pet's life stage, environment, and other risk factors.

After completing an Annual Health Review, we will evaluate your pet's age, breed, environment, and lifestyle to determine the risk potential of disease and health threats. We will customize a health care plan incorporating, Wellness Screenings, a vaccine schedule, nutrition counseling, dental care, parasite prevention (fleas/ticks/heartworms), and potential zoonotic threats for you and your family.

Most owners recognize that dogs and cats mature at an accelerated rate compared to the human aging process. Twice yearly examinations with blood profiles for adult and senior pets will better enable us to identify certain potential disease processes that may be affecting your pet.

In summary "It is Better to Prevent Rather than to Treat". Wellness examinations can help identify risk factors due to exposure and age that would affect the health of a pet (also the owner's pocket book).
